Relatives & Friends Together group

Relatives and Friends Together (RAFT) is an informal 'drop in' support group for those that share their lives with someone who is living with a life-threatening illness. The group is open to all ages and facilitators are trained to work with children and adults alike.

The group meets every Thursday between 3pm and 5pm in The Snowdrop Centre at St Richard's Hospice.

You are welcome to join us for all, or part of the two hours, to take 'time out' in a supportive and caring environment. Experience tells us that meeting other people in a similar situation is often very helpful. A life threatening illness can be difficult for the whole family network.

As this is a 'drop in' group we do not need prior notice if you are going to attend. However, if you need our sitting service, please contact Sarah Barr on 01905 763963.

If you would like to know more, please contact Liz McMahon or Jackie Glass at St Richard's Hospice, email specialistpcsocialworker@strichards.org.uk or call 01905 763963.
