Events and Collections
The fundraising team are looking for volunteers to help with our events to ensure that are a success. Volunteer support is essential to the smooth running of our events and we would love to hear from anyone who can spare a few hours.
We are looking for a volunteer to help spread the word about fundraising events and initiatives, amongst our local community. Visiting retail outlets and business parks on a regular basis to keep supporters up to date and spot opportunities for ways businesses can get involved, perhaps by taking a tin, taking part in an event or challenge or as a potential for charity of the year partnerships. A confident individual with good communication skills is essential, alongside a full driving licence. Mileage will be paid. The commitment required is for a day per week. We have vacancies for volunteers to help with our tin collections, to take responsibility for collecting and placing tins in their local area and support businesses who host our collecting tins. In particular, we are interested in anyone who can help out in the following areas:
– Great Witley
Your own transport is essential as you will have to collect tins from various business locations and deliver them to the hospice. Ages from 18 to 85 years. Attendance at occasional meetings is also required. We estimate that 1-2 days per month would be required for this role. Please contact Clare Daniel on 01905 763963 for more information.
