Corporate Volunteer
Income from Worcestershire companies is a very important income stream for the Hospice. We are looking for someone to assist the Fundraising Manager in keeping in touch with corporate supporters, seeking their future support and researching new charity of the year opportunities. The role will involve telephoning businesses to thank them for their support, checking and updating the contact details we hold for them and understanding their areas of interest so we can make appropriate contact for future involvement. We also require an audit of companies currently holding collection tins for the Hospice. An essential part of this role will be encouraging businesses to take part in current events and initiatives and seeking their support in promoting these. A confident person with a good telephone manner is essential and some knowledge of database application is an advantage. The role will require regular commitment of half to a full day per week.
