Dig Out Your Christmas Clobber

St Richard’s Hospice is inviting local residents and businesses to hold a Christmas Clobber day during December and help raise money for the charity.

To take part in the seasonal campaign, groups of family, friends or colleagues are being asked to choose a date on which they will dress up in their favourite Christmas jumper or accessories. On the day, take a ‘selfie’ photo and post on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/strichards or tweet with the hashtag #xmasclobber. Then, make a donation to the hospice either by texting CLOB99 with your donation amount to 70070 or by visiting www.JustGiving.com/XmasClobber.

Jodi Brandwood, Community Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said; “We hope that many people will take the opportunity to dress up and have some fun for this Christmas Clobber challenge, but the event also has a meaningful purpose. The money raised by people taking part will help the hospice continue to offer care for patients with cancer and other life threatening illnesses, to help them to live well for as long as possible, and support them if they want to spend their final weeks and days in their own homes.”
