Challenge yourself for St Richard’s

New Year is traditionally a time for resolutions, for getting started on plans for the future – to get fit, lose weight. St Richard’s Hospice is inviting local residents to consider taking on a challenge and raise money to support hospice care.

Challenges are not only good fun and provide a strong sense of personal achievement, they are also a good way to raise money to help St Richard’s continue to care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and support their loved ones.

During 2015, many hundreds of local people took part in St Richard’s events and challenges, together raising over £180,000 to help the hospice provide specialist end of life care to over 2,600 patients and family members in Worcestershire.

The hospice is offering a wide selection of inspirational trips and experiences during 2016 and beyond, both in the UK and abroad, including walks, cycling and running events, and activities for the more adventurous such as bungee jumps, wing-walking, sky dives and white water rafting experiences.

Find out more about taking on a challenge in our events section or call the fundraising team on 01905 763963.

The fundraising team can also support people who would like to take on a more personal adventure, perhaps fulfil a long held dream, and organise their own fundraising challenge.
