Cheer on the Warriors and support hospice

Worcester Warriors fans are invited to join St Richard’s Hospice for a special rugby afternoon as the team plays local rivals Gloucester on 12th March.

Rugby fans can enjoy a lasagne buffet in the charity lounge before cheering on the Warriors.

Charlie Homer, Community Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said; “This is a great opportunity for rugby fans, or those who have never been to a match but always wanted to, to experience the thrill of the game after a delicious lasagne lunch and great St Richard’s hospitality. We have held this event for a number of years now, and it’s always a good outing!”

Tickets cost £27 per person, and include a lasagne and match ticket with allocated seating. The charity lounge opens at noon with lunch at 12.30pm and kick off at 2pm. To book tickets please contact Charlie Homer on 01905 763963

This event is kindly sponsored by Dorset House.

St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with life-limiting illnesses and supports their families. Each year the hospice team supports over 2,600 patients and family members in Worcestershire with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.

Patients are cared for in Day Hospice, the 17-bed In-patient Unit or in their own homes by a specialist professional team as well as many trained volunteers.

In the In-patient Unit, specialist staff are on hand 24 hours a day to manage patients’ symptoms and where, if appropriate, patients may spend the last few days of life in comfort and dignity. St Richard’s is an independent charity and is grateful for all donations to help it to continue its work.
