Love was in the air at the hospice today, as we provided a Valentine’s Day lunch for Nigel and his wife Jane.
Jane visits every day and has lunch with Nigel, who is being cared for on our In-patient Unit – but today’s meal was extra-special.
The couple enjoyed pasta in tomato sauce and pineapple upside-down cake made by our catering team – while heart-shaped napkins and pink drinks added the romantic touch.
The meal was arranged after the pair mentioned it to a member of our hospitality team yesterday. We were delighted to make their wishes a reality.
