Ele-baby finds great new home with raffle winner

We’re delighted ele-baby Khushee has found a great new home after being won in our Worcester’s Big Parade Raffe.

Winner Helen Howman, from Evesham, is a long-standing supporter of St Richard’s and we couldn’t be more pleased for her!

Pictured here is her grandson Jack making friends with Khushee, who was designed by MrASingh.

Helen, also pictured with her husband Jamie, says: “I was delighted to receive the phone call telling me I had won Khushee.

“It is such a unique prize and we will enjoy having him in our home. Our grandson Jack has certainly enjoyed meeting him.

“We first became aware of the fantastic work St Richard’s does when my dad became ill, and was cared for by the hospice in 2003. We have supported St Richard’s since then.”

The parade raffle raised a tremendous £32,056 profit, which will help us continue to care for patients, their loved ones, and bereaved people across Worcestershire.

We are so grateful to Helen, and all those who entered the raffle, for helping raise such a wonderful amount.

Our thanks also go to raffle sponsor West Midland Safari Park and Morgan Motor Company for donating prizes. The raffle was drawn at St Richard’s Hospice on Monday, 25th October.

Thank you to Worcester’s Big Parade Partners Worcester News, BBC Hereford and Worcester, DRPG, Crowngate Shopping Centre, Worcester City Council, Worcester BID and West Midland Safari Park.
