This three day course is aimed at Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Social Workers, Care Staff, Volunteers and professionals working in residential and health care settings. It will be held over 3 Thursdays: 26th April, 3rd May and 10th May 2018 – all three days need to be attended to complete the course.
This course is for anyone who has attended An Introduction to Listening Skills in the Palliative Care Setting course and who wishes to further their knowledge, skills and understanding. This course introduces the history of grief work philosophy and principles.
Key aspects of this course include:
Understanding emotional aspects of death, dying and bereavement
Increasing self awareness
Further honing of communication skills
