In 2020 St Richard’s Hospice will be taking a team of trekkers to China to experience the longest man-made structure on the planet.
This challenging 5-day trek takes you to a remote section of the Great Wall, from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and Simatai.
Not only will you trek on the wall itself, meticulously built and restored over thousands of years, but you will also trek through remote landscapes with awe-inspiring views of the green rolling hills and mountain peaks, with the Great Wall as the backdrop.
Staying in guesthouses throughout the challenge allows you to gain a deeper understanding of local culture as you discover the lifestyle of the local people and taste the incredible cuisine.

Join us for a free information evening on Wednesday 17th July to find out more about the trip. Trek organisers, Different Travel, will be in attendance to answer any questions you might have. Please register your attendance with the Fundraising Department.
