In 2020 St Richard’s Hospice will be taking a team of nine trekkers to China to experience the longest man-made structure on the planet.
This challenging 5-day trek takes you to a remote section of the Great Wall, from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and Simatai.
Not only will you trek on the wall itself, meticulously built and restored over thousands of years, but you will also trek through remote landscapes with awe-inspiring views of the green rolling hills and mountain peaks, with the Great Wall as the backdrop.
Staying in guesthouses throughout the challenge allows you to gain a deeper understanding of local culture as you discover the lifestyle of the local people and taste the incredible cuisine.

If you’re interested and would like one of our fundraisers to contact you about the Trek, please fill out the online form below or download and complete the booking form and we will be in touch as soon as we can.
PLEASE NOTE: Trek must be booked and registration form and fee to St Richard’s Hospice, immediately.
During this challenging time, we are doing our utmost to continue caring for the patients and loved ones who need us most.
The way we work has been adapted, with many of our services delivered remotely – such as over the phone, or by video call. And we are working closely with other health care professionals in Worcestershire to share knowledge and expertise at this time.
