This course is aimed at Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Social Workers, Care Staff, Volunteers and professionals working in residential and health care settings.

This can be a stand alone course, a refresh and/or introduction to the three day Communicating Effectively in the Palliative Care Setting Part 2 course.

The day interweaves three key aspects:
• Dealing with sensitive subjects, especially of death and dying
• Increasing self awareness
• Honing communication skills

Please note that references to end of life and bereavement experiences will occur during these courses.
