This three day course is aimed at Managers, Doctors, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Family Support Team, Therapists, Educators, Fundraisers and Front of House Team.
Dates for this course will be 20th April, 27th April and 11th May 2020 (Mondays).
This course is for anyone who has attended Communicating Effectively in the Palliative Care Setting Part 1 course and who wishes to further their knowledge, skills and understanding. This course explores further aspects of communicating effectively, self-awareness and understanding the bereavement experience.
Key aspects of this course include:
Understanding emotional aspects of death, dying and bereavement
Increasing self awareness
Further honing of communication skills
Please note that references to end of life and bereavement experiences will occur during these courses. Skills practice includes a recorded exercise.
