We are very sorry that due to the current lockdown we are unable to proceed with the Lantern Walk on 6th February.
We are looking at alternative dates later in the year and we will be contacting everyone who has already bought a ticket as soon as we know a bit more. Please accept our apologies and bear with us!
Join us at dusk to walk a beautiful 1.5-mile route around the grounds of National Trust Croome (High Green, Worcester WR8 9DW), and help us light up the night sky in the run up to Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re joining us to remember a loved one or just to enjoy the picturesque setting of Croome, the evening is set to be a magical experience for all.
All participants over the age of 5 will receive a lantern and LED candle to carry along the route, and glow sticks will be provided for little ones, lighting up the parkland of Croome as we make our way around the route safely, adhering to social distancing guidelines. Certain areas along the route will be lit up, giving you the opportunity to experience Croome like never before.
We encourage all participants to fundraise as much as possible, it is the additional money raised through sponsorship and donations that makes a huge difference to the individuals and families we support and care for. There is no minimum sponsorship or donation amount, any money raised is greatly appreciated.
This year to ensure the safety of all participants and staff we will be operating a time slot system for the walk. Walkers must stick to their dedicated time slot – no changes will be permitted. Scanning the Track and Trace app will be mandatory and further social distancing measures will be in place on site. Unfortunately, the café and church will remain closed this year, but we encourage participants to bring hot drinks along in flasks.
Please call the fundraising department on 01905 958 262 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need anything further.
