Fancy taking on an adventure of a lifetime?
Find out all about our Nepal 2019 trek adventure at an information evening at St Richard’s Hospice in Wildwood Drive, Worcester, WR5 2QT, on Wednesday, 5th September at 6pm.
This incredible trip is being organised by Different Travel, who will attend the information evening to answer any questions you may have about the trip. They are also available to speak to over the phone or by email in case you have any queries before then.
So, what’s it all about? For the first time, St Richard’s is organising a bespoke overseas 12 day challenging trek exploring the Nepalese countryside.
Nepal has established itself as the true home of adventure and this trek is a great opportunity to witness the culture and tradition of the people who live there.
Join a group of St Richard’s supporters and take in the spectacular views of the snowy peaks of the Annapurnas and a fascinating mountain panorama from Poon Hill.
You will start the trip spending two days helping a non-profit hospice care organisation in Kathmandu which offers services and support to patients and their families. Once you have acclimatised to the atmosphere and have recovered from the potential jet-lag, the trekking part of the challenge begins.
The registration fee for the trek is £350, plus:
Option 1: Raise the minimum sponsorship of £3,600 and SRH will pay your trip costs (subject to at least 15 people in the group)
Option 2: Self-pay trip costs of £1,950 and pledge to raise a minimum £1,650 for the hospice
