Have you ‘herd’? For eight weeks in summer 2021, Worcester will be brought to life by a parade of beautifully decorated elephant sculptures. Elephants – both big and small – will form a stunning, free art trail through the city’s streets and open spaces, bringing together the community for one unforgettable event.
Each large sculpture will be sponsored by a business and individually designed by an artist, either well-known or just starting out, from Worcestershire or further afield. Elephant calves will be designed and decorated by local schools and community groups.
After this, there will be the chance to say a final ‘goodbye’ at a Farewell Event, before each large elephant is auctioned to raise funds for our care here at St Richard’s.
