Take on the Worcestershire Way challenge covering 31 miles in a day, or NEW for 2024 do this walk over 2 days and raise funds for our hospice care.
One-day Challenge:
Take on the St Richard’s Hospice Worcestershire Way challenge, covering the entire 31 miles in a day! Whether individually, with friends, or as a team, start in Bewdley between 5.45 am – 6.30 am on Friday, 12 July, and journey through the scenic Worcestershire countryside, concluding at The Red Lion, Malvern, WR14 4RG. Enjoy a buffet lunch at The Talbot at Knightwick and avail of a sports massage to rejuvenate tired legs. Water stations and marshals will also guide you along the way.
Two-day Challenge – NEW FOR 2024!
If the one-day challenge seems daunting, why not opt for our new two-day option?
Day 1: Begin in Bewdley (between 6.30 am – 8 am) on Friday, 12 July, drop your bag (we’ll transport it to the campsite), and trek through Worcestershire. Enjoy morning tea and cake in Abberley (10.5 miles) and take your time exploring. Finish at The Talbot at Knightwick (20 miles) for a buffet, sports massage, and camping facilities. If camping isn’t your preference, return the next day.
Day 2: Start the day with unlimited hot drinks at the campsite. Enjoy hot breakfast baguettes from 7.30 am – 8.45 am. Sign out and commence walking between 8–9 am. We will then transport your belongings to Malvern. Water stations, marshals, and first aid cover are provided. Finish at The Red Lion, Malvern, WR14 4RG between 12 – 1.30 pm.
We advise that you train and familiarise yourself with the route before taking part.

Costs
One Day Challenge:
Set your own fundraising target and raise as much as you can for our care! £25.00 entry fee.
Two Day Challenge:
Camping pitch on Friday and Saturday’s breakfast are included in the price, regardless of participation. Choose from two ticket options:
Fundraising: £49 entry fee + £195 minimum sponsorship (80% due by June 28, 2024)
Self-funded: £95 entry fee + your own fundraising target
Additional options:
• Campervan/Motorhome (no electric hook up): £5 extra
• Additional Campervan/Motorhome nights (Thursday and/or Saturday): £15 per night per vehicle
• Extra Breakfast for guest/non-walker (Saturday only): £10
