Festival fireworks river cruise

Worcester Festival goers are invited to join St Richard’s Hospice on a very special evening river cruise to enjoy the festival finale fireworks from a unique viewpoint.

On Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August, the local hospice will be offering a party atmosphere and the perfect position from which to watch the spectacular Worcester Festival fireworks show. Guests will be able to enjoy a four hour river cruise along the River Severn on The Pride of the Midlands with a glass of fizz before returning to Worcester to watch the fireworks display.

St Richard’s Hospice will be welcoming special guests Hursty and Helen from the Free Radio breakfast show to this exclusive cruise, along with the lucky winner of their radio competition.

Charlie Homer, Community Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said; “The Worcester Festival fireworks finale raises a huge amount of money to help support hospice care each year, and we are very grateful to everyone who donates to the collections on the evening. We thought it would be a lovely idea to offer people the opportunity to see the spectacular display from an unusual vantage point – from the river. Tickets are selling fast so I would encourage anyone who would like to join us to book soon.”

Tickets cost £12 per person, including a glass of sparkling wine. For more information or to book tickets, contact St Richard’s Hospice on 01905 763963. The event is being kindly sponsored by Premier Places.
