A city hospice has teamed up with fashion retailer New Look to offer shoppers an extra ‘thank you’ for supporting its care this Christmas.
New Look has launched a customer discount scheme aimed at encouraging people to donate goods in support of hospice care – and St Richard’s Hospice is among the charities taking part.
Until Monday, January 13, anyone who donates a full bag of goods to the hospice shops in St Swithin’s Street, Worcester, Evesham High Street and the Malvern Department Store will receive a 20 per cent off New Look voucher.
Dan Corns, Commercial Director at St Richard’s, said: “We are delighted to be taking part in this fantastic campaign.
“It’s a great way to boost good-quality donations, helping us raise funds for our care – while giving something back to our wonderful donors.”
The scheme is running in partnership with national charity Hospice UK and more than 200 hospice shops are taking part across the UK.
Nigel Oddy, Chief Executive Officer at New Look, said: “As a company, we really care about being kind to our people and to our planet, therefore we want to make it easy for our customers to recycle their unwanted clothes whilst helping to reduce the amount of clothing waste that ends up in landfill.

Every item bought in one of St Richard’s Hospice’s shops helps the charity to provide care for patients living with serious, progressive illnesses, their loved ones and bereaved people across Worcestershire.
