Fun run offers chance to support hospice

Anyone who has been inspired to get active by the success of Team GB in this summer’s Olympic Games is invited to take part in a fun run in aid of St Richard’s Hospice.

The event organised by Norton Community Trust and St Richard’s Hospice will take place on Sunday 25th September and will feature a 10km or 5km race and a 5km fun run or walk.

Suitable for all the family, the routes will take participants from Norton Parish Hall in Littleworth along the quiet lanes of the picturesque Worcestershire village of Norton.

Entry is £10 for the 10km route and £5 for the 5km route, with entries on the day £13 and £8. The run starts at 10:00am. All proceeds will support St Richard’s Hospice.

Jayne Sargeant, Community Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said; “This is a fantastic annual event that is great fun for all the family. The run can be as competitive as people want to make it – some people hope to run a personal best time while others aim to have fun and keep their fitness up – but all finishers receive a medal to reward their efforts. I’d like to thank Norton Community Trust for their continued support.”
