Farewill

Free Online Will-Writing Service

Farewill is an online Will specialist, letting you answer simple questions online to create your Will. It’s then checked by one of its Will specialists.

Under our partnership with Farewills’ free Will writing service, you won’t be charged, but the hope is that you’ll include a gift in your Will to benefit St Richard’s Hospice. However, you’re under no obligation to do so.

Each Will written by Farewill costs the hospice £45 and there is an option, if you wish, to cover this with a donation during the registration process, but, again, you are under no obligation to so.

Farewill says this service is not suitable for you if you’re looking for a joint mirror Will; have overseas assets or have a complex estate. If you are unsure which option is best for you, we would always recommend you consult a solicitor.

Farewill charges a £10 annual fee if you’d like to be able to update your Will – your first year is free. You’ll get a reminder before the free period’s up so you can opt out if you wish.

Writing your Will is a two stage process. Firstly, complete the form by clicking on the blue button below. Once completed and sent, you will receive an email with all the details you need including the unique discount code to complete the process on Farewill.

Please note it is only possible to create a single Will for an individual on Farewill. If you would like to create a Will for a couple it is advised you go through the process twice creating a Will for each individual. Farewill does not offer joint Wills through its charity partnerships.

If you have any questions and would like to talk to someone about your will and leaving us a gift, please feel free to call the fundraising team on 01905 763 963 or email appeals@strichards.org.uk

Gifts in Wills are absolutely vital to the care we provide; 1 out of every 7 patients’ care is paid for through these significant, thoughtful gifts. These gifts mean that we can plan and build on our services to reach more local people in the future.
