Rachel Dunne

Rachel is a Registered General Nurse and has worked in clinical practice for over thirty years. During this time Rachel also attained a qualifying law degree from Sheffield University.

Rachel undertook her training in Sheffield before moving to Worcester to further her career and has worked within a variety of roles such as Ward Sister, Risk Manager, National Health Service Litigation Authority Assessor and Head of Quality & Safety. Lately Rachel has focused her career towards quality improvement ensuring patient experience, quality and safety are at the forefront of driving care and treatment.

Rachel maintains her clinical practice and nurse registration in her current role as the Associate Director of Nursing & Quality at Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Groups. Rachel has experience of working collaboratively with key stakeholders and the general public and her most recent experience within the Clinical Commissioning Group means she is also experienced in commissioning essential services across the health economy and ensuring that they are provided in a safe and effective manner.
