A NIGHT of winter carnival themed celebrations await for guests of a hospice’s annual fundraising ball.

St Richard’s Hospice is hosting its Snowdrop Ball from 6.30pm to 1am at Sixways Stadium, Worcester, on Saturday, November 29.

Kelly Johns, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at the Worcester-based hospice, said: “We’re so excited for this year’s ball and are delighted to host the event at such an iconic city venue.

“This is the perfect pre-Christmas treat for friends, families, or colleagues to get glammed up and enjoy a night of great food, carnival-themed entertainment and dancing.

“As well as being a fun night out, our Snowdrop Ball helps raise important funds to continue our free palliative and end-of-life care for patients, and support for their loved ones too.”

Tickets are available to book now, either as individuals or as tables of 10 or 12: www.strichards.org.uk/event/snowdrop-ball

As well as entry to the event, tickets include a welcome drink, three-course dinner, carnival-inspired entertainment and games, music from live band The Cover Ducks and a DJ, and the chance to take part in a silent auction and raffle.

The Snowdrop Ball is sponsored by Shrubbery Dental Practice.

Sally-Anne Clarke, a principal of Shrubbery Dental Practice, said: “The Shrubbery team are delighted to sponsor the Snowdrop Ball for the eighth time.

“It’s an absolute privilege to be involved in such an amazing charity, and to support this wonderful event.”

Jessica Crawford-Clarke, also a principal of the practice, continued: “The hospice means so much to us here at the Practice. Some of our team members have had to use the facilities over the last few years, and some of our team’s family are currently using them now. This makes our sponsorship even more special.”
