Salary Scale: St. Richard's Hospice Payscale Pay Point 14 (£28,281 - £29,694 per annum)
St Richard’s is looking for an Engagement Officer to play a key role in the continued development of hospice care to meet the changing needs of the Worcestershire community.
You will be a pro-active individual and a ‘people person’ with experience of developing and leading community engagement projects and working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external partners.
The Engagement Officer will help raise awareness of our services, strengthen our connections with local healthcare systems and build partnerships.
Using your experience of delivering successful engagement projects and in-depth understanding of the healthcare environment, you will plan and deliver the strategies to widen and deepen the knowledge of St Richard’s services to increase access and involvement in hospice care. You will engage with a multitude of social groups, minority groups, those defined as ‘hard to reach’ or ‘seldom heard,’ service users, influencers, staff and volunteers.

St Richard’s Hospice cares for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. It also supports their loved ones.
Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,300 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire. St Richard’s is an independent charity and relies on donations and gifts in Wills for the majority of its income with 22% funded by the NHS.
