Hours: Full or part time (23 – 37.5 hours per week)
Salary Scale: St. Richard’s Hospice Payscale Pay Point 11 – 12 (£24,918 - £27,472 pro rata per annum plus enhancements for night and weekend working)
Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse with an understanding of the aspects relating to palliative care and excellent communication skills? If so, you may be the person we are looking for to join our team.
We care for adults with a serious progressive illness, improving their quality of life from diagnosis, during treatment and to their last days. We also support their loved ones. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,400 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.
We are currently seeking caring, compassionate and committed professionals to join us as Staff Nurses on our 17 bedded In-Patient Unit where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. The unit operates an 11.5-hour shift system worked 8-8 am and pm and also operates some twilight shifts.
The successful applicants will work flexibly as part of the Hospice’s multi-disciplinary team, in partnership with community and acute care professionals, and provide nursing support, including physical, psycho-social and spiritual care, to patients in the In-Patient Unit and their families.
