Join hospice team for glamorous Snowdrop Ball

Guests are invited to put on their glad rags and join a hospice team for its glitzy, annual fundraising ball.

The St Richard’s Hospice Snowdrop Ball will be held at Sixways Stadium in Hindlip, near Worcester, on Saturday, 17th November.

On the night, guests will be treated to a drinks reception, three course meal, grand auction and raffle.

There will also be live music from The Smooth Criminals, a casino and disco for party-goers to dance the night away while raising money for St Richard’s.

Ria Simons, hospice Fundraiser, said: “This event is the most glamorous in the hospice’s calendar and is always a great night out.

“It’s the perfect excuse for guests to get dressed up and ready for the festive season – all while raising money to help us continue our hospice care.

“We hope to raise a fantastic amount for St Richard’s – every penny we raise will go to supporting the free care we provide to patients and their families.”

Last year’s glittering celebration saw more than 300 guests enjoy the festivities, raising more than £25,000 for the hospice’s free, specialist care.

This event is sponsored by Knight Frank and Shrubbery Dental Practice.

Katie Griffiths, Business Development Manager at Shrubbery Dental, said: “We are so excited to be sponsoring the Snowdrop ball again this year. Last year’s event was fabulous and with so much money being raised it made us all feel very proud to be part of such a fantastic event and cause.

“St Richard’s Hospice is very close to many of our team members’ hearts as nearly all of us have had friends or family who have had to lean on the hospice for support and care – so it felt a perfect fit when choosing which charity to support this year.

“We are looking forward to seeing all the sparkle again with what is set to be another stunning evening.”

Shelley Stephenson, an associate at Knight Frank, said: “Knight Frank, Worcester, is proud to support St Richard’s Hospice and its Snowdrop Ball.

“Having visited the hospice and met the staff, we have seen first-hand the amazing work they do across all departments.

“Before we arrived, we weren’t sure what to expect – but we found it to be such a welcoming and uplifting place.”

The ball begins from 7pm and a table of 10 is priced at £600 (£60 per person). To reserve tickets visit www.strichards.org.uk/event/snowdrop-ball
