Salary Scale:          FTE: £24,207 – £25,416 per annum
(16.5 hours per week: £10,651.08 – £11,183.04 per annum)

St Richard’s Hospice and Bereavement Support South Worcestershire provides support to individuals and families who are dealing with emotional and psychological problems pre and post bereavement.

We are currently seeking a Child and Family Support Practitioner to work as part of the Hospice’s Family Support Service and Bereavement Support South Worcestershire, to provide specialist psychological, emotional and social support to children, young people and families before and following the death of a loved one.

The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care, and experience of and training in working with children and young people in palliative care, bereavement and loss. Experience of assessing and working with bereaved children and families and facilitating support groups are essential requirements for this role.

This is an exciting time to join the Hospice as we have recently undergone a £5.2m building project in order to be able to improve the facilities on our site in Wildwood Drive and provide support to more patients and families in Worcestershire.
