Hours

Two to three hours a week

Location

In the community and in clients’ homes. We particularly need support in the Evesham and Pershore areas.

Reporting to

Family Support Practitioner

The role

The Community Volunteer Service provides important support for people accessing palliative care or bereavement support through St Richard’s Hospice.

Community volunteers provide support including:

  • Befriending and companionship
  • Light housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Carer respite visits
  • Local outings such as to a café, supermarket, or out for lunch

This post requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
