Notice to our customers and supporters – 24th March 2020
With a heavy heart, we have taken the decision to temporarily close our shop in Droitwich, along with all 18 other shops and our warehouse in Worcestershire. This is to protect staff, volunteers, donors and customers from the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
We have the most fantastic support from the people of Worcestershire and we very much look forward to welcoming everyone back when the government advises it is safe to open our doors once again.
In the mean-time, we are kindly asking our supporters not to leave donations outside our shops. We are also suspending all furniture and other donation collections for the time being.
You can read our full statement here. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult time.
Customers can enjoy the larger, more spacious shop which has been doubled in size by merging two premises together. Set over two floors, the upstairs section boasts a book department stocking 3,000 titles for customers to browse. Alongside this, there is increased stock for sale – from ladies fashion, to jewellery and bric-a-brac. The shop also sells household items.
St Richard’s, which has had a shop in Gurney’s Lane for more than 20 years, wanted to remain in the location – while expanding and refreshing the store to create a bigger, more modern environment.
If you have recently visited one of our shops we should be grateful if you would complete our short customer service survey, thank you.
If you have a few hours to spare and are able to volunteer please contact our volunteer department on 01905 763963

During this challenging time, we are doing our utmost to continue caring for the patients and loved ones who need us most.
The way we work has been adapted, with many of our services delivered remotely – such as over the phone, or by video call. And we are working closely with other health care professionals in Worcestershire to share knowledge and expertise at this time.
