What can be donated?

Make your donation count

You can help make a difference to our care by giving your good quality, preloved items for us to sell in our shops.

We are always in need of good quality donations and are so grateful for the items we receive. But, we face a significant, and growing, problem which affects the whole charity shop sector – disposing of unsaleable donations.

Disposal of dirty, torn, incomplete and broken items which we cannot sell or recycle costs us thousands each year. You can help combat this problem by making sure you give clean, undamaged and complete items to our shops.

Take a look at the booklet below to find out which items we can and can’t accept, and make your donation count for our care. Thank you.

Listen to our Commercial Director, Dan Corns, explain why it’s so important to ensure you donate good quality items for our shops to resell. You can also watch Dan give a guided tour of our donations processing warehouse in Leigh Sinton, filmed in summer 2019.
