Scenic Six Offers Springtime Beauty

Families and fitness fans are invited to join St Richard’s Hospice at its annual ‘Scenic Six’ village run on Sunday, 29th March.

This popular annual fundraising event features a six mile multi-terrain run and two mile fun run/walk around the lanes, fields and footpaths of the village of Peopleton.

The event takes its name from the beautiful scenery of this part of Worcestershire and offers something for everyone. For those that like a bit of a cross-country challenge, the full six mile route will fit the bill, but for those that prefer a less strenuous day out admiring the village and spring blossom, there is an alternative two mile fun run, jog or walk around the village.

St Richard’s Hospice Community Fundraiser Lizzie Brazier, said: “This is a great family event which is suitable for people of all ages. Whether you’re a keen runner or just fancy a nice walk through the countryside, there is a route for everyone. On the day there will also be some amazing cakes and sandwiches along with tea and coffee served in the village hall for people to enjoy both before and after the run.”

The event, which is suitable for all ages, starts at 11am with registration fee of £10 for the six mile run, and £3 for the two mile route. Registration from 9am. Participants can register on the day; £12 for six miles, £3 for the two mile route. For more information or to register, please visit our Scenic Six event page or call 01905 763963.
