Our fantastic volunteers at the St Richard’s Hospice shop in Bewdley had their hard work recognised with a special award from the town’s mayor last week.
Councillor Anna Coleman presented the group – pictured here with shop manager Kate Pinhal – with a ‘Mayor’s Thank You Award’ in celebration of their tireless work for St Richard’s.
Kate said: “The award was given to the volunteers in recognition of all they do.
“I am very proud of them being given this award from the mayor and it’s lovely for them to be recognised by our town as well as the hospice.
“We are fortunate in Bewdley to have a mayor who has chosen to highlight the importance of charity shops in the local community as well as the contribution that the volunteers make.”
