Support for teens with activity day

“It has allowed me to understand that I am not alone”

Recently, a group of bereaved teenagers took part in an activity day arranged by our Family Support Team.

The day began with a workshop, talking through the symptoms of grief and coping strategies – before a visit to Drayton Manor Theme Park in the afternoon 🎢🙌🎡

We’ve found children and teenagers can often feel isolated and that people around them don’t understand what they’re going through. They also find it hard to allow themselves to have fun.

The activity day allowed the group to meet others who are going through a similar experience, to talk about their feelings and enjoy themselves too.
