Top tips for Cheltenham Festival
Top trainers and jockeys from the world of jump racing will be giving their top tips for the Cheltenham Festival at a special evening event in aid of St Richard’s Hospice.
Dr Richard Newland, trainer of last year’s Grand National winner Pineau De Re and leading jockey Paddy Brennan will be among the expert panel giving their views and predications ahead of the Festival week.
The Preview Evening takes place at The Wood Norton Hotel and Restaurant near Evesham, Worcestershire on Tuesday, 3rd March at 7pm. Tickets are £35 each which includes a two course dinner.
St Richard’s Hospice Senior Fundraising Manager Alison Parkes said, “This is a fantastic event for racing fans to speak to those really in the know who can give excellent insights into the Festival action. We are very grateful to all those on the panel who are giving their time for free to help raise funds for our hospice services.”

St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living life-threatening illnesses and supports their families. Each year the hospice team supports over 2,500 patients and family members in Worcestershire.
Patients are cared for in Day Hospice, the 17-bed In-patient Unit or in their own homes by a specialist professional team as well as many trained volunteers.
In the In-patient Unit, specialist staff are on hand 24 hours a day to manage patients’ symptoms and where, if appropriate, patients may spend the last few days of life in comfort and dignity. St Richard’s is an independent charity and is grateful for all donations to help it to continue its work.
