Community Volunteering

Ruth and John Hunt with Otto and Community Volunteer Marilyn JohnsonSt. Richard’s Hospice are currently recruiting for new Community volunteers in the Malvern area.

St Richard’s Hospice Community Volunteers offer practical help at home for patients and carers who are supported by the hospice.

The volunteers are trained to offer a range of support to complement the care provided by hospice staff.

Practical Support includes:

  • – Keeping patients company at home
  • – Help with shopping
  • – Light household duties
  • – Walking the dog
  • – Spending time with patients so that a carer or family member can take a break.
