Set up an online Forget-me-Not tribute fund

Sometimes, when you least expect it, a memory of your loved one comes back to you. It could be the TV show they loved, the holiday you all enjoyed together or maybe their favourite song will play on the radio.

Setting up an online tribute fund allows you to remember and share these precious memories, while helping us raise money to support our free, specialist care.

  • What is a forget-me-not tribute fund?

    • Your Forget-Me-Not Tribute Fund is a positive way to remember a loved one or friend who has died, whilst supporting St Richard’s Hospice to provide its free, specialist care. It is a web page where family and friends can support the hospice in any way they choose – from making a donation or fundraising for an event, to adding messages, music and video in memory of someone special. Your fund will have its own unique link, for example mary.smith.1970-2011.muchloved.com.

  • Is there a cost for creating a tribute fund?

    • There is no cost for creating a tribute fund. We work together with the MuchLoved Charitable Trust to offer this special service.

  • How do I set up a tribute fund?

    • It’s easy to set up a tribute fund, all you need is a valid email address. When setting up the fund, you enter the name of the person you are remembering, a photograph of them (if you have one) and a message for display on the fund web page. You can change any of these details at a later date. Your fund will have a unique link which you can share with family and friends.

    • If you wish, your tribute fund will remain online forever in remembrance of your loved one.

    • You can control the privacy settings of your tribute fund and set the exact level of restriction you require. How do I share my fund with family and friends?

    You can invite family and friends to view your fund by sharing your unique link or by sending them an email through the ‘invite’ setting on your tribute fund page.

  • How are donations collected?

    • Donations are collected through the Charities Aid Foundation and sent directly to St Richard’s Hospice.
