Course Content
This workshop aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills when caring for people at the end of their lives. By the end of the workshop participants will:
- Understand what palliative and end of life care means
- Recognise the importance of Advance Care Planning & ReSPECT
- Nutrition and hydration at end of life
- Be aware of how to manage common symptoms, including pain and agitation
- Understand care after death and bereavement
- Be aware of the importance of self-care
