Notice to our customers and supporters

This donation station will reopen on Tuesday, 22nd September between 10am and 1pm, and Saturday, 26th September, between 9am and 1pm. We can now accept book donations at the Warehouse.

We will do our best to accept your donations, but once the container is full you will need to return the following week.

  • We are particularly seeking autumn/winter clothing stock, including accessories for men and women. We would also love donations of modern, decorative household items and kitchenware in good condition. Thank you.

  • To meet infection control guidelines donors will be asked to place items directly into a container or hospice van where they can remain for 72 hours before handling.
  • Donations must not be taken into the shop.
  • There will be signage in place directing you to the donation point.
  • All donations must be in a sealed bag (e.g. tied at the top), or a box – ideally with a lid to enable stacking.
  • Please ensure boxes of donations are of a manageable size, and weigh no more than 8kg.
  • If you are donating individual items, please make sure they are appropriately wrapped and not loose.
  • If you gift aid goods, please obtain labels from the shop and attach to your donations.

The quality of our care depends on the quality of your donations. For advice on making a donation, and examples of what we can and can’t accept, see our Quality Donation Guide.

Furniture collections

We can collect donations of furniture, but not other items at this time. Please do not bring furniture to our shops or donation stations. If you wish to have an item of furniture collected, please follow this link to fill out our online form. Thank you.

Find out more information on our other shops here. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
