We are looking for 20 businesses, in the 1st quarter of 2020 to raise £20k towards the free care that St Richard’s Hospice provides!
We will even be able to say what £20,000 could pay for within our services – around 229 days of Hospice at Home Care, which provides specialist support for patients with life-limiting illnesses who want to stay in their homes for as long as possible.
The scheme is loosely based on the ‘Grow your £’ concept that our schools around Worcestershire take part in called Flourishing Fivers. Our thoughts are that if Children in our community can do it then adults can too!
All 20 companies will be given £50 and quite simply will be asked to grow their £. They could perhaps start off with a cake sale then with the proceeds could look at a larger event. Perhaps they could take on a challenge where they raise sponsorship money, organise a quiz night, a pie eating competition, a skydive, a golf day, a cheese and wine evening, the ideas are endless!
Whatever each business decides to take part in they will be supported by us 100% of the way – Ria will be on hand to help you with your fundraising and will visit all of the businesses involved to hand over their £50 on a day to suit in December. This will be the perfect opportunity to speak to your staff members, answer any questions, discuss fundraising ideas and to take some PR shots.
