Virtual Woo Fest 2020

  • This event has passed.

Are you missing the festival vibes this summer? Disappointed you can’t listen to your favourite live bands in the sunshine with your family and friends?

Then fear not! If you can’t come to the festival, we’ll bring it to you on Saturday 4th July from 3pm to 10.30pm!

The Woo Fest team are working with creative communication agency, DRPG, to bring you a virtual day of live music and entertainment. The day will be jam packed with familiar faces and exciting acts making their Woo Fest debut, including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Toyah Willcox and Grant Nicholas from Feeder. See the Virtual Woo Fest line-up.

Expect a variety of music to suit all ages and tastes, delivered through pre-recorded and LIVE sets, and all hosted by Richard ‘Hursty’ Hurst and the Woo Fest team, who’ll even give shout-outs to families and friends watching at home!

Sounds great! How do I watch?

By following this link; it’s as easy as that! You will currently see a landing page, but on the day, this is where the magic will happen!

There will be no entry tickets, all we ask is for you to enjoy a day of amazing live music, get into the festival spirit and simply donate to support St Richard’s Hospice.

You can donate online www.strichards.org.uk/virtualwoo, text CARE to 70140 to donate £10, or call 01905 958273 (phone lines open during the event only).

Why not set up a festival in your own home or garden? Decorate in true festival style, dig out your festival hats and fancy dress, cook tasty festival foods and drink your favourite festival tipples!

Don’t forget to take pics and interact with us on the day and share your festival experiences with us. Email your pictures to You can also post on social media using the hashtag #VirtualWooFest

You can create some bunting to decorate your home by downloading the following files: Black and white bunting to decorate yourselves or Coloured bunting.

All of the performers, volunteers, DRPG and other companies involved in delivering Woo Fest, generously give their time for free, as they do each year. This enables 100% of all funds raised to go directly towards the care that St Richard’s provides. Thank you for your support.
