John joined as a Patron after stepping down as Chairman of St Richard’s Board of Governors in April 2021.
John took on the Chairmanship in 2007 after previously spending three years as a hospice governor and Vice Chairman of the successful St Richard’s New Hospice Appeal. He saw the Build 2020 appeal to build a bigger hospice completed successfully before stepping down as Chairman.
He has lived in Worcester since 1980 and had a long career with Cadbury Schweppes before retiring early in 2003.
