Race the Dragon is Worcester Dragon Boat Racing Club’s Charity Dragon boat race event held every year for over 25 years right in the heart of Worcester on the river Severn.
Up to 30 teams enter each year to compete for Open, Women’s, Mixed and Under 18 trophies, raising thousands of pounds for charity.
With parking and the city centre both in easy walking distance Race the Dragon is a family friendly event that is fun to watch and be a part of. Come along to support teams and cheer them on as they race throughout the day.
At £210 per team (aprx. £12 per person) Race the Dragon is great value as a team event. Companies, clubs, societies and groups of friends choose this event to come together and enter teams. Many come back to race year after year.

** Note: the event is hosted by Worcester Dragon Boat Racing Club and all club members volunteer their time for free for this charity event. No member of the club is paid for their time and the aim of the event is for everyone involved to have fun and raise as much money as possible for charity.
