Lucy qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1988 in Sheffield and has worked in various specialities including HIV and AIDs, school nursing, community nursing and with older adults.
Before moving to Worcestershire, Lucy worked in London, Brighton and Oxford. Lucy joined the St Richard’s Hospice Learning Team in January 2020.
In her role, and working with the other members of the team, Lucy supports the delivery of statutory, mandatory, and role enhancement learning. This ensures staff keep up-to-date with changes in health and social care.
Lucy also leads on the delivery of outreach learning for staff working in care agencies, residential, and nursing homes. This is a part of her role she particularly enjoys.
