Our vital, compassionate, support to adults and children who are grieving has received a financial boost from The National Lottery Community Fund
We’re very grateful for the grant of £9,272 for our Family Support Team to help those who really need us.
Head of Family Support, Sarah Popplestone-Helm said, “We are seeing people really struggle to deal with the loss of a loved one, coupled with the additional stresses of the pandemic. The long-term impact of our bereavement work on young people and their mental health will be considerable as more struggle with stress and anxiety in their lives. We work with parents and the whole family to help young people develop coping strategies and understand they are not alone in their grief. “
She added, “We’re incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for helping to fund our work, making a difference in our community when it really matters.”
