Join hospice for masquerade ball

Guests dance at the St Richard's Snowdrop Ball

Guests are invited to join a city-based hospice for its fundraising masquerade ball this winter.

The St Richard’s Hospice Snowdrop Ball will take place on Saturday, December 10 at the Bank House Hotel in Bransford, near Worcester.

Kelly Johns, Community and Event Fundraising Manager at St Richard’s, said: “Our annual ball is back in all its glitz and glamour – but with a new masquerade twist!

“This year we’re inviting guests to bring their most eye-catching masks along for a night of elegance, mystery and great entertainment.

“It’s set to be a fantastic event during the countdown to Christmas, and will raise important funds for our free care to patients and their loved ones.”

Guests will be treated to a glass of fizz on arrival, followed by a three-course meal, raffle, auction, themed entertainment, and live music from Junction 7 followed by a DJ set.

And, there will be prizes on the night for the most creative masks, both for groups and individuals.

Last year’s glittering celebration saw 350 guests enjoy the festivities, raising more than £22,000 for the hospice’s free, specialist care.

The Snowdrop Ball is sponsored by Shrubbery Dental Practice.

Katie Griffiths, Business Development Manager at Shrubbery Dental, said: Sally-Anne and Jessica, the principles of the practice, are now in their fifth year of sponsoring this fabulous event.

“They feel super proud to be able to support this amazing charity that raises funds for such an important cause.

“We can’t wait for another fabulous night of glitz, glamour and fundraising!”

The evening begins at 6.30pm and finishes at 1am. Tickets are £60 per person, and tables are also available in rounds of 10.
