Notice to our customers and supporters – 24th March 2020
With a heavy heart, we have taken the decision to temporarily close our shop in Upton upon Severn, along with all 18 other shops and our warehouse in Worcestershire. This is to protect staff, volunteers, donors and customers from the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
We have the most fantastic support from the people of Worcestershire and we very much look forward to welcoming everyone back when the government advises it is safe to open our doors once again.
In the mean-time, we are kindly asking our supporters not to leave donations outside our shops. We are also suspending all furniture and other donation collections for the time being.
You can read our full statement here. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult time.
Upton Upon Severn Shop is located on the High Street, right in the centre of Upton. We open 9am until 5pm Monday to Saturday and are supported by a fabulous and vibrant group of volunteers.
We take all good quality clothing and bric-a-brac donations and we have the most brilliant book department too!
Please call us on 01684 593322 if you are unsure on what you can donate, we can fill you in and advise on what times are best (We take donations any time but some days we are more full than others so it won’t hurt to call!)
Our shop manager and volunteers pride themselves on a well laid out, relaxed shop where excellent customer service is a priority and a sense of humour essential. We are a happy bunch so if you ever fancy a bit of volunteering as well as donating then we’d love to chat to you! There are many ways to support the work of the hospice and volunteering is a good fun one!
We look forward to seeing you!
If you have a few hours to spare and are able to volunteer please contact our Volunteer Department on 01905 763963

During this challenging time, we are doing our utmost to continue caring for the patients and loved ones who need us most.
The way we work has been adapted, with many of our services delivered remotely – such as over the phone, or by video call. And we are working closely with other health care professionals in Worcestershire to share knowledge and expertise at this time.
