A hospice has recently launched its Grand Raffle – boasting a top prize of £5,000.
The St Richard’s Hospice Grand Raffle could see a supporter scoop the cash, having spent just £1 on a ticket.
In the past, the raffle has raised thousands to support the hospice’s free care to patients living with life-limiting illnesses, their loved ones and bereaved people across Worcestershire.
There are five prizes up for grabs in this year’s raffle: first place wins £5,000; second place gets a Belmond Northern Belle train experience for two; the third place prize is a £225 John Lewis shopping experience; fourth place wins £200 of M&S vouchers and fifth place enjoys an overnight stay for two at Stanbrook Abbey in Callow End.
Kelly Johns, Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We’re so excited to launch this year’s raffle – it’s a fantastic way to help the hospice and possibly win an amazing prize in return.
“With the help of the community, our raffle can raise £50,000 – which could fund our Day Services for over a month providing specialist, individual care to patients – or ensure our Family Support team can help families facing the life-limiting illness of a loved one.
“We can’t do what we do without you – so snap up your tickets and get involved!”
The raffle is sponsored by Worcester Racecourse and Karndean Designflooring, which is based in Evesham.
