Hundreds of runners turned out in glorious sunshine to take on the Worcester Full and Half Marathon.
The popular race took place on Sunday, May 20, and followed a course through the beautiful Worcestershire countryside – starting and finishing at Sixways Stadium, near Worcester.
St Richard’s Hospice was the beneficiary charity for this year’s event – while a number of runners also took on fundraising for the hospice too.
So far, around £5,000 has been raised for St Richard’s – an incredible amount which will help support the free care it provides to patients, their loved ones and bereaved people across Worcestershire.
Aly Parkes, Fundraiser at St Richard’s, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the Worcester Full and Half Marathon – including all the fantastic volunteers.”
Now in its seventh year, the Worcester Full and Half Marathon was organised by Tempo Events and sponsored by Hewett Recruitment.
