Hospice launches new lottery

A hospice has launched its new lottery – offering players the chance to win up to £25,000 each week.

The St Richard’s Hospice Lottery was launched on Wednesday, July 3 at Primo Bar in Worcester and in its first week has seen almost 150 people sign-up to play.

The online-only subscription lottery costs from £1 per week – with 73p from each entry going directly to St Richard’s Hospice.

Rachel Jones, Fundraising Manager at St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We were delighted to launch our new lottery with a fantastic celebration last week.

“The lottery offers people a way to show their ongoing support for our care, while being in with the chance of winning some great prizes.

“We have been blown away by the support we’ve seen so far – and hope many more people sign up to help make a difference to the lives of those we support, when they need us most.”

The draw takes place every Saturday, with a chance to win prizes including £25,000, £1,000, £100 and £10.

As well as the chance to win up to £25,000, there is also a special monthly prize draw for regular players.

The new lottery is in addition to the existing Worcestershire Hospices’ Lottery which is split between St Richard’s, Acorns Children’s Hospice and Primrose Hospice.

The Worcestershire Hospices’ Lottery will continue to run and those playing this lottery will not be affected by the new lottery.
