In-patient Unit Manager Jamie Yeomans said, “This award is a true testament to the hard work, commitment, dedication and professionalism that the IPU team demonstrates day after day. I’m so proud of how the team has performed and acted throughout the pandemic, maintaining our very high standards and looking after each other to ensure we can continue caring for our patients and their loved ones during their most vulnerable times.”
Run by the Cavell Nurses Trust charity, Cavell Star Awards are given to nurses, midwives, healthcare assistants and nursing associates who demonstrate high standards of care to patients, their families and colleagues.
