With a background as Operations Director and Pension Fund Trustee in a global organisation, Peter joined the hospice’s new Trading Company in 2003, becoming non-executive Chairman in 2004, and subsequently a member of the Financial & General Purposes committee and a Trustee.
He has lived with his wife Valerie in Malvern Wells for 40 years. Keen on bridge, tennis and walking, Peter has enjoyed completing a number of the hospice’s long distance fundraisers – the Worcestershire Way in a Day twice, the Atlas Mountain Trek, the Great Wall of China, 50k for 50k Thames Path fundraiser and the Nepal challenge which saw him working in a hospice in Kathmandu before setting off on a five-day trek through the Himalayas.
