St Richard’s to hold spooktacular Halloween race

Runners take part in a previous Halloween themed run for St Richard's. Participants are dressed in Halloween outfits and are running through a cloud of orange smoke.

RUNNERS are invited to don their most ghoulish gear and get involved with a charity race this Halloween season.

Open to runners of all abilities, the St Richard’s Hospice Spooky Sprint takes place on Sunday, October 29 starting at Norton Parish Hall, near Worcester.

With a choice of a 5 or 10K professionally timed route, this family-friendly event will see participants rewarded with a Halloween-themed treat and bespoke medal.

Sofia Gunster, Events and Community Fundraising Lead, said: “As the weather turns colder, we’re ready for autumn and all the fiendishly good fun Halloween brings.

“Our Spooky Sprint is the perfect way to celebrate the change in season and raise valuable funds for our care at the same time!”

The route takes participants through the village of Norton and its surrounding areas, before finishing back at the parish hall.

There will be prizes for the race winners and for the best Halloween outfit.

Tickets cost £17 per adult and £10 for under 16s, who must be accompanied by an adult. A family ticket for two adults and two children, or one adult and three children, is £48.

To book tickets visit www.strichards.org.uk/event/spooky-sprint or call the hospice’s Fundraising Team on 01905 958262.

Spooky Sprint is sponsored by Marshall’s Transport Evesham and supported by Pulse Events.
